Each pet is assigned a unique metal tag with an ID number. This tag will follow your pet throughout the process and even goes inside the machine with the pet. It’s how we’re able to verify it is just your pet’s ashes that we return to you. 

For an additional cost, we also offer a viewing service where you can be present to witness the entire process, and take your beloved pet’s ashes home with you the same day, subject to availability.

The process for a cremation with Wildwood Pet Cremation is fairly straightforward, you can contact us directly to make all of the arrangements. During this time, we will discuss your wishes concerning your beloved pet, transportation, budget, and any specific requests you may have. We will then work with you to create a personalized plan that works for you. Each pet is handled with dignity and respect while we acquire any keepsakes that may have been requested. The pet is then put on the schedule for cremation, and personalized keepsakes are handcrafted. Our staff then lovingly packages each memorial item to bring your loved one’s keepsakes home.

The cremation process involves placing your pet’s remains inside a high-temperature chamber, reducing it to ashes.  The metal tag, with a unique ID number assigned to your pet, will be placed inside the machine as well to guarantee it is just your pet’s ashes that we return to you. The ashes are lovingly placed in an urn and packaged with care for their final trip home.

The basic cremation cost varies by size, but it will always includes a complimentary wooden urn, and framed paw print keepsake. Please check out our shop for pricing and a variety of keepsake items offered.

Unlike most other companies, we do not transport your pet out of state for the cremation. Your pet will be cremated on site in Henderson.
